Awa wa wa wa wa! Wa? DAAAAA!!!

So here I am, BORED at work. There's absolutely nothing to do so I decided to update my blog. Yes I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been extremely busy with work and life in general. I was just looking at the pile of games on my coffee table yesterday thinking "Am I ever going to get a chance to go through those games?" And to make matters worse, I've recently bought a Japanese Wii so that's even more games to play! Oh and I got my copy of Advent Children Complete yesterday which I'm DYING to watch (huge FFVII fan here btw) so yeah expect fewer youtube videos and blog updates over the next couple of weeks. Anyway, enough about my sorry life (lol) so I just wanted to share with you guys a little something I bought from Amazon.com - a rabbid wiimote grip :D it looks AWESOME! Unforunately, the material isn't high quality but I bought it for display purposes anyway so it doesn't really matter. I've attached a couple of pics below but if you wanna see more be sure to visit my flickr page here

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories & Rabbids Go Home Announced for the Wii :D

That's right folks! And no, this isn't an April Fool's prank! Nintendo Power confirmed that both games will be arriving on the Wii.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memeories

- You'll play as Harry Mason, you’re still looking for your daughter, and you’ll see familiar elements, but they’re all twisted to betray your expectations.
- The Wii mote will be used as a flash light; Harry is moved using the control stick.
- Your answers actually affect how the game unfolds. And it doesn’t end there. the game “watches” you constantly, and your behavior throughout can determine when you’ll meet certain characters, which scenes you’ll witness, and a variety of other factors.
- There will be NO COMBAT in the game; your only option is to flee the scene 0_0
- The Wii mote will act as your cell phone and static noise will come from the wii mote (cool!)
- No load times

Rabbids Go Home

- action/adventure game; not a mini-game fiesta!
- Rabbids have decided they want to go home, but they don’t know where home is. For whatever reason, they decide that the Moon is their destination
- Rabbids goal is to collect enough junk to build a tower to reach the moon
- control two Rabbids at once: one sits inside a shopping cart, another pushes
- push cart into various junk to collect it
- some items require extra steps to collect
- use ‘BWAH!’ attack to scare clothing off of NPCs, then collect to add to your tower
- other items are used to give rabbids new abilities, power-ups for their cart

....Is it wrong that I'm more excited about Rabbids Go Home than Silent Hill? xP

Special KH Announcement was a stupid April Fool's prank

That's right -___- if you were as excited as I was about the announcement, then start yellin and kickin stuff (ok, I didn't really do that lol). So it turns out that this whole special announcement was an April Fool's prank pulled by KHinsider & HeartStation. Am I disappointed? Nah, I'm looking forward to 358/2 Days so it doesn't really bother me that Nomura didn't announce KH3. To read more about the prank visit KHinsider

Unboxing the Japanese Metallic Blue DSi

I couldn't resist the color :p and in case, you're wondering, I bought it from Play-asia for $249. Enjoy :D

This wasn't the only thing that was in the package though :p I'll be uploading another unboxing video sometime today or tomorrow ;)

Sick :( oh and how I'm going to choose the contest winner

That's right :( I spent most of last night throwing up and I had to take the day off, which is quite annoying cuz I was looking forward to have some cake this guy at work was going to bring in! Oh well :(

Alright, so on to the stuff you wanna hear about - how the contest winner is going to be chosen. As I've mentioned before, me and a couple of friends are going to sit down and go through all the answers submitted. Answers that we like are going to be placed in a separate pile. After that, we'll narrow down the answers further by removing those submitted by non-subscribers (you know who you are). Finally, we'll place the final nominees in a bowl and we'll choose randomly. Hopefully this clears up any questions you guys might have. Oh and more thing, the winner will be announced sometime before the 9th of April :)

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks GDC '09 Debut Trailer

Yes I know I know, you've all seen the trailer like a million times already but I'm sure you can stomach watching it one last time right? :p As Iwata-san mentioned during his keynote at GDC, this game is set to be released this year so expect to hear more about it in the following months!

Limited Ed. Kingdom Hearts DSi; Also, New KH Announcement this Week!

I didn't wanna make two consecutive posts about Kingdom Hearts so I decided to combine everything into one big post :) So let's begin! So as many of you may know, Square Enix has finally announced a release date for 358/2 Days for Japan- May 30th. What's even greater is that a limited edition DSi bundle will also be available

Ain't that one smexy DSi? ;) Of course, many ppl have expressed disgust over the design but honestly, I couldn't care less. I'm a HUGE Kingdom Hearts and I think that DSi looks awesome! Am I going to get it? Of course! I'd give my left arm for it (well, maybe not) but you know what I mean. The point is I'm dying to get my hands on it. I was searching ebay earlier today and I found two listings - each going for $400+ ....Yes that's a lot of money. Depressing isn't it? Maybe I'll get my boyfriend to get it for me :D

Anyway, on to the cheerful news :D Tetsuya Nomura has said in last week's Famitus issue and I quote:

"Next week, we plan on making a special announcement regarding the Kingdom Hearts series - please look forward to it."

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! What could it possibly be? Kingdom Hearts 3 announcement? :D Perhaps... Unlike many ppl, I don't like to engage in speculation cuz I don't like disappointments >_> But knowing Tetsuya, it's definitely going to be huge. What's it going to be? We'll find out this week ;) In the meantime, enjoy the following Mission Gameplay from 358/2 Days :)

DSi Countdown to Release Date

Alright so here's a little something that my European fans (lol) might find interesting- it's your very own DSi countdown! So I'm sure you're thinking "yeah, well big deal!" Well what I found interesting about this site is that for every day gone, you get a new DSi-related video. Go on, have a look :)

Awa wa wa wa wa!

Alright so who here loves rabbids? I'm pretty lots of you do :p If you own a Wii, then don't miss your chance to own this awesome Wiimote charger! It's set to be released on April 23 for $29.99 (pre-tax). If you wanna find out more details, visit the Amazon page here. Am I going to get it? Hell yeah! :D Might even do an unboxing video if I receive any requests *cough* :p

Phantasy Star 0 Mini - First Look

A quick look at Phantasy Star 0 Mini, a DSiware game that was released on March 25, 2009 for only 200 Nintendo points. This game is basically a mini-version of Phantasy Star Zero, which was released in Japan on December 25, 2008. The game has been confirmed for North America and I believe Amazon.com is taking orders as we speak. When is it coming out? Most likely in Fall 2009. Sorry Europe and Australia, no info on the release dates yet :( In the meantime, enjoy my little video. Oh and btw, yes I know I suck lol but it's hard to play and film at the same time y'know :p

Unboxing Club Nintendo Golden Wii Wheel

I know many of you enjoy watching me unbox Nintendo stuff so here's something special for all of you :) In this video, I unbox a golden Wii Wheel! Yes it's authentic and in case you're wondering, it's Japan-exclusive (for now at least). Lemme give you a bit of background info. Each year, Club Nintendo Japan rewards its platinum members with exclusive items. Platinum members are those who have registered over 500 pts in a single year, with each year starting in October. So for example, in order to become a platinum member in 2008, you had to register 500 pts between October 1, 2007 and September 30, 2008. So anyway, platinum members in 2008 were given a choice between the golden Wii Wheel and Mario's hat. While the hat looked lush, I decided to go with the golden wii wheel. No no, I don't have access to Club Nintendo Japan (unfortunately) But ebay is a wonderful thing isn't it ;) It went for $65 when I bought it but I believe the price has dropped slightly. Anyway, enjoy the video and please be sure to rate and comment :D

Competition Ending Tomorrow- Don't Miss Your Chance to Win GTA: Chinatown Wars!

That's right folks :) I've decided to give away GTA: Chinatown Wars. I've noticed that there were a couple of people (idiots, if you ask me) who have expressed concern on whether I will actually ship the game to the winner or not. As you can see below, I've got two copies of GTA: Chinatown Wars. One copy is sealed while the other isn't (mine lol). Not only will the winner receive the game, he/she will also get Amazon.com's preorder bonus - a one time code to unlock the bulletproof Infernus! Yes I know, I'm so sweet lol j/k. Well, so far I've received over 500 responses (I'm pretty sure there were more, many of which were posted on my youtube channel and the competition's video). I look forward to reading all your responses and no, I haven't read any yet because it wouldn't be fair to the rest. I plan to read the msgs with a couple of my friends after the competition ends. I'm sure you guys wrote some really good responses so I'm sure it's going to be hard to pick one winner. But no worries, given the positive reaction I have received this time, I plan to organize more competitions in the near future :) I wish you guys all the best and I look forward to reading your responses :x

Win a DS game competition!

Hello everyone! In celebration of the launch of my blog (and because I'm feeling generous lol) I've decided to host a competition. The prize? A DS game of course! Which game you ask? Well, that's a secret :p However, I am going to offer a few hints:

1. This DS game will be released in the US.
2. This game has a March 2009 release.
3. No, it's not shovelware.

That should help you narrow it down ;)

So what do you need to do to enter the competition? Simple!

1. You need to subscribe to my youtube channel. If you have sent me a friend request but haven't subscribed, then you won't be eligible to enter the competition. So go ahead and subscribe, it only takes a few seconds :)

2. Send me a message answering the following question: "Why do you love Nintendo?" See it's very simple!

3. Competition ends March 31, 2009. Winner will be announced a few days later.

I haven't decided whether the winner will be chosen by random or based on creativity/sincerity but more information will be provided in the next few days. In any case, make sure you answer as honestly as you can :)

Once the winner is contacted, he/she will be asked to provide a shipping address. Package will be sent with insured shipping and if possible, a tracking number.

That is all folks :) Make sure to subscribe to my videos and to tell all your friends about this sweet competition!

Japanese Schools giving out DS's!!!

God, times sure have changed. I remember when I was in high school, we weren't allowed to use cell phones or electronics! It has been reported that as many as 10 middle and elementary schools located in Osaka will be handing out DS lite consoles to students. Of course, students will be using the DS for educational purposes and not to play New Super Mario Bros during math class :p It would be interesting to see if this plan will encourage students to further their studies or drop out of school and consider a career in gaming :p Three words: ONLY IN JAPAN

Capcom announces Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles for the Wii

Sure it sucks that PS3 and 360 owners get to enjoy RE5 while Wii owners don't but hey that doesn't mean that Capcom has forgotten about the Wii! Capcom has officially announced that it will be releasing Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, a sequel to Umbrella Chronicles, for the Wii. Darkside Chronicles will be set around Resident Evil 2 and will feature Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. The game is set to be released this winter.

But wait, there's more! Capcom has also announced two classic remakes for the Wii: Resident Evil 0 and the GC remake of the original Resident Evil. Both games will take advantage of the Wiimote and will retail at $29.99 (each, of course).

Dying to catch a glimpse of the new Resident Evil? Well, look no further! Below you'll find the Japanese debut trailer (I'm sweet I know :p)

Welcome to my Blog!

Hello and welcome to my blog :D First off, I feel I should introduce myself properly. I'm a 24 year old female gamer and I've been playing video games my entire life. It all started out with the Famicom and Super Mario Bros (which was my first game, naturally). Then after that came the Sega Mega Drive (or Sega Genesis, as it was called in the US), SNES, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, etc.. But I must admit that I did lose interest in gaming during the PS1 era. It wasn't until I came across Kingdom Hearts (my first RPG btw) that I became hooked on gaming all over again. And in case you are wondering, yes I am a HUGE Kingdom Hearts fan as well!

Admittedly, I wasn't too fond of the Gamecube but I'm completely in love with the Wii and DS. Yes I know a lot of ppl out there think that Nintendo games are for kids but that's not true at all! Sure the majority of the Nintendo games lack violence and blood and gore, but a game doesn't have to include these elements to be fun! For instance, Super Mario Galaxy lacks all of those things but it's fun as hell! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy games like Dead Space and Call of Duty but I also enjoy games like Rayman Raving Rabbids & Nintendo's Art Style collection. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't like to label myself as a hardcore or casual gamer...I'm just an open-minded gamer :)

Anyway I digress (and you'll be seeing that side of me lots in the next few weeks lol) anyway anyway so what's my site going to be about? Nintendo of course :) I plan to post Nintendo-related news, articles, videos, etc. And as you all may know, I like to collect limited edition DS lites and I've got a massive DS games library, so I'll be posting videos & pics of those here as well.

Last but not least, I just wanted to thank my friends and Youtube subscribers for the support. It's because of you guys that I have decided to continue expanding my Nintendo youtube channel and to create this blog. Without your support, none of this would have been possible so thank you

So that's it for my first blog post :D If you haven't subscribed or added me as a friend on youtube, please feel free to do so here and feel free to visit my flickr page here

Make sure to tell your friends about me :D It's always nice to meet other gamers who love Nintendo as much as I do <3

Take care
