Hello everyone! In celebration of the launch of my blog (and because I'm feeling generous lol) I've decided to host a competition. The prize? A DS game of course! Which game you ask? Well, that's a secret :p However, I am going to offer a few hints:
1. This DS game will be released in the US.
2. This game has a March 2009 release.
3. No, it's not shovelware.
That should help you narrow it down ;)
So what do you need to do to enter the competition? Simple!
1. You need to subscribe to my youtube channel. If you have sent me a friend request but haven't subscribed, then you won't be eligible to enter the competition. So go ahead and subscribe, it only takes a few seconds :)
2. Send me a message answering the following question: "Why do you love Nintendo?" See it's very simple!
3. Competition ends March 31, 2009. Winner will be announced a few days later.
I haven't decided whether the winner will be chosen by random or based on creativity/sincerity but more information will be provided in the next few days. In any case, make sure you answer as honestly as you can :)
Once the winner is contacted, he/she will be asked to provide a shipping address. Package will be sent with insured shipping and if possible, a tracking number.
That is all folks :) Make sure to subscribe to my videos and to tell all your friends about this sweet competition!

Japanese Schools giving out DS's!!!
God, times sure have changed. I remember when I was in high school, we weren't allowed to use cell phones or electronics! It has been reported that as many as 10 middle and elementary schools located in Osaka will be handing out DS lite consoles to students. Of course, students will be using the DS for educational purposes and not to play New Super Mario Bros during math class :p It would be interesting to see if this plan will encourage students to further their studies or drop out of school and consider a career in gaming :p Three words: ONLY IN JAPAN
Capcom announces Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles for the Wii
Sure it sucks that PS3 and 360 owners get to enjoy RE5 while Wii owners don't but hey that doesn't mean that Capcom has forgotten about the Wii! Capcom has officially announced that it will be releasing Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, a sequel to Umbrella Chronicles, for the Wii. Darkside Chronicles will be set around Resident Evil 2 and will feature Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. The game is set to be released this winter.
But wait, there's more! Capcom has also announced two classic remakes for the Wii: Resident Evil 0 and the GC remake of the original Resident Evil. Both games will take advantage of the Wiimote and will retail at $29.99 (each, of course).
Dying to catch a glimpse of the new Resident Evil? Well, look no further! Below you'll find the Japanese debut trailer (I'm sweet I know :p)

Welcome to my Blog!
Hello and welcome to my blog :D First off, I feel I should introduce myself properly. I'm a 24 year old female gamer and I've been playing video games my entire life. It all started out with the Famicom and Super Mario Bros (which was my first game, naturally). Then after that came the Sega Mega Drive (or Sega Genesis, as it was called in the US), SNES, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, etc.. But I must admit that I did lose interest in gaming during the PS1 era. It wasn't until I came across Kingdom Hearts (my first RPG btw) that I became hooked on gaming all over again. And in case you are wondering, yes I am a HUGE Kingdom Hearts fan as well!
Admittedly, I wasn't too fond of the Gamecube but I'm completely in love with the Wii and DS. Yes I know a lot of ppl out there think that Nintendo games are for kids but that's not true at all! Sure the majority of the Nintendo games lack violence and blood and gore, but a game doesn't have to include these elements to be fun! For instance, Super Mario Galaxy lacks all of those things but it's fun as hell! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy games like Dead Space and Call of Duty but I also enjoy games like Rayman Raving Rabbids & Nintendo's Art Style collection. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't like to label myself as a hardcore or casual gamer...I'm just an open-minded gamer :)
Anyway I digress (and you'll be seeing that side of me lots in the next few weeks lol) anyway anyway so what's my site going to be about? Nintendo of course :) I plan to post Nintendo-related news, articles, videos, etc. And as you all may know, I like to collect limited edition DS lites and I've got a massive DS games library, so I'll be posting videos & pics of those here as well.
Last but not least, I just wanted to thank my friends and Youtube subscribers for the support. It's because of you guys that I have decided to continue expanding my Nintendo youtube channel and to create this blog. Without your support, none of this would have been possible so thank you
So that's it for my first blog post :D If you haven't subscribed or added me as a friend on youtube, please feel free to do so here and feel free to visit my flickr page here
Make sure to tell your friends about me :D It's always nice to meet other gamers who love Nintendo as much as I do <3
Take care
